Lead Data Scientist

As a Lead Data Scientist, Jordan (PhD, Environmental Science) makes key contributions to projects at several government agencies, teaches advanced data science courses managed by the University of Missouri, and helped a major defense contractor streamline manufacturing of jet airplanes.  Jordan has supported a wide variety of commercial data science initiatives for Fortune 500 companies in the health care, insurance, and shipping industries, and helps develop Elder Research’s algorithmic investment strategies. Jordan previously served as a scientist and hydrologist at Everglades National Park where his model of mangrove forest productivity formed the basis for establishing accurate productivity budgets for all US wetlands.

Jordan serves as a reviewer for multiple scientific journals such as Remote Sensing, Forests, Water Resources Research, and Agricultural and Forest Meteorology.
