Adam Trexler, Ph.D.

Principal Data Scientist

Adam (PhD, Biophysics & Biochemistry) brings over a decade of experience, and enthusiasm for data-based problem solving, to Elder Research. His scientific training and postdoctoral work focused on the molecular features of human disease with an emphasis on efficient data processing, image reconstruction, and clustering methods. Recently, he applied machine learning and anomaly detection techniques to personnel security and insider threat applications for the US Army.

Adam earned his PhD in biophysics and biochemistry from Yale University after majoring in biology at McDaniel College. In his free time, Adam enjoys running, hiking, and cooking.
