Kirsty’s background in scientific research sparked a passion for discovery and analysis. Previously, she worked in a quantitative genetics laboratory studying the genetic architecture of complex traits such as aggression and lifespan. Her love for learning led her to pursue a MS in Analytics from NC State University, where she dove into a customer segmentation project for a financial services company.
At Elder Research, Kirsty’s work has included building healthcare machine learning models, designing and teaching data science topics, and validating models for maritime risks.
A proud Wolfpack alumna, Kirsty also holds a BS in Genetics from NC State University.
