Laura is passionate about creating collaborative analytics solutions and challenging traditional paradigms to find innovative ways to meet client needs. Prior to joining Elder Research, Laura worked for more than a decade at an independent research organization as a researcher, project manager, and quality assurance professional to help government and nonprofit clients make better decisions through data and analysis.
Laura earned an MS in Analytics from the Institute of Advanced Analytics at NC State University where she worked on a model to detect Twitter bots. She also has an MPP in public policy from the University of Chicago and a BA in Psychology and Political Science from University of Illinois.
In her free time, Laura loves spending time with her husband and two children exploring new restaurants, attempting escape rooms, or playing improv comedy games.
