About Us

Data Driven. People Centered.

Data Driven.

At Elder Research, we believe trust is invaluable to success. Our clients need to trust that we will solve their challenges with rigor, integrity, and ingenuity. End-users need to trust that our analytic models and solutions are accurate, unbiased, and reliable. In order to provide our clients with actionable results they can trust, our teams are continuously growing in their craft – rigorous science, statistics, machine learning, engineering, and consulting.

People Centered.

People are at the heart of everything we do. Our clients are people facing complex and unique challenges every day. Our team members are people full of passion, creativity, and humility that seek to listen and understand client challenges in order to craft the best solution. Our models and solutions impact people and communities at large, such as improving access to resources like healthcare and housing or detecting and preventing national security threats. At Elder Research, we keep people squarely at the center of everything we do.

Our Story

In 1995, Dr. John Elder started Elder Research to help clients solve some of their most complex and challenging business problems leveraging data science. At the center, John sought to build a team that truly put the needs of clients and employees first.

Over the last 28 years, Elder Research has grown to a team of about 150 data scientists, engineers, and support staff who are deeply passionate about the craft, practice, and deployment of data science and machine learning solutions. We apply our craft to serve clients in the public and private sectors as well as domestically and internationally.
